Last weekend was RIDICULOUSLY full of plans... I mean INSANE. I had no time to just relax, and that's usually what my weekends are for - and cleaning/laundry. Friday, I was off work, but I had a million errands to run (and it was Jason's 30th birthday that day), so I went and watched him bowl at night.
Saturday, I had to work a CPR event at the campus, but I got a two year certification, so it was worth it. Then I had to bust ass home to shower and get ready for dinner in the city with my sister and her man friend. They wanted to take us out for Jason's birthday. We went to Luxbar, which was amazing - the food was incredible, and it was nice to get out in the city for a night. By the time we rolled back into Romeoville, it was around 2am, and I had to work SUNDAY too...
Sunday was something. I had to work the Anime Convention in Rosemont for work. We have a graphic design program here at Westwood, so the goal was to get leads. THESE PEOPLE WERE FREAKY. Here are some pics...
Needless to say, the ability to get these freaks to break character long enough to get a lead out of them was next to impossible. Our booth was right next to an ice cream place, so at least I got a cone.
THEN, as if my weekend wasn't jam packed enough, I decided to have immediate family over for dinner/cake/coffee for J's birthday. So, again, I'm hauling ass home from Rosemont to set up/start cooking for everyone. It turned out really nice though. Great food, great company & I got to smother my nephews with auntie love :)
Jason's awesome cake. Maybe next year, boys.

So that's that. This week is going by fast, which I need... I can't wait to relax this weekend. Jason will be out of town for his bowling state tournament (tons of fine athletes all in one place...), so I'll have the house to myself with the fur kids. Hopefully, I'll get lots accomplished. If not, oh well.
So that's Wednesday. More to come later in the week, I'm sure... :)
