So, I'm busy as SHIT this week... Working late tonight and tomorrow, and then Thursday/Friday start the wedding festivities for my friend Frances. It's bound to be a good time, but I need to get tons of stuff accomplished before then!
I'm picking up my bridesmaid dress today on lunch - I needed to get it hemmed. For some reason (maybe because I'm 5'10") I ordered extra length. I didn't need it... $120 later, the dress should fit perfectly now. Bah.
To get me through these next few days, I've decided to get back on the sauce. Diet Mountain Dew, that is... I found this deliciously gigantic can at Walgreens on my way into work this morning. As a comparison of how large it is, I put my hand next to it. 24oz of pure caffeine.I should be up all night.
So the wedding is Friday, and like an asshole, I volunteered to work 10-2 on Saturday. Idiot move on my part. Then at 4pm Saturday, I am headed to meet my friend's baby, Monty :) I've seen pictures, and he's super adorable and squishy. I can't wait to love him up! Oh, and seeing his mom will be nice, too :)
After this crazy weekend is over, the husband and I are packing up and driving to Kentucky to visit his Grandma and Grandpa Stiltner. We went a few years ago, and we had SO much fun. We'll be down there for July 4th (my 29th birthday)... I can't wait to just relax and enjoy ourselves!
I NEED to get this t-shirt before we go. I said I was going to last time, and I didn't. It's a must this year. I promise to not have this dumb fake smile look on my face though...
That's all I've got. I hope everyone is enjoying this "hot as balls" Tuesday afternoon!

Sweet Lady Friday
Thank you, baby Jesus - It's Friday! This week was crap, and I'm going to be happy to put it to rest. For once, I don't have a big event planned this weekend (showers, bday party, wedding, etc etc). So I'm going to welcome the much needed break & get things done around the Stiltner Estate. I do have to take the boys to the vet tomorrow morning, which will be a shit show at best. Sparky's not bad - you can do anything to that dog, and he'll thank you for it. Love my muppet.
Gus, however, is an entirely different story. He likes to be home laying in the sun or on mom's boobs. He's anti-social unless he gets to know you and determines that you are worth his time (kind of like his mother lol). He usually takes a hot shit the second we walk into the vet's office whether he's gone at home right before or not. It's just him saying "Fuck you, pick up my shit." And I'm sure he and I will not be on speaking terms the rest of the weekend. This is a huge ordeal for him, and since he's German, he'll hold a grudge for a solid month or so. Deal with it. I love him :)
Once that's over, all I'm planning on doing is straightening up the house, getting caught up on laundry and relaxing. Of course, my Christian Grey will be with me... FUCK I love those books. I'm almost done with book two, and I can't wait to see how everything pans out. I'm a loser. Deal with it.
Anyway, that's all I've got for today. I'm ready for it to be 5pm so I can go home and hold down the couch. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Another quote I like:

All is right with the world again...
OMG the internet has been down at work for two days. It's finally up and running, and I feel like I can survive a 9 hour day again. Having access to trash websites doesn't hinder my work day at all. In fact, I think it helps. I look up celeb gossip while I'm making dials and talking with students. It makes the day go by much faster, which is a good thing for everyone.
Another issue I would like to get on the table is diet pop. I NEVER drink pop unless I have a huge taste for it for some reason. Literally, I bet it's been 6 months or more since I have had a carbonated drink of any kind (other than LaCroix - I drink that shit like it's going out of style). This morning, for some reason, I want a Diet Mountain Dew. I know pop is "bad" for you with all of the unnatural sweeteners, etc. But Weight Watchers says it's 0 points. So what the fuck? What's your take on the situation? Yay or nay??
I bought one, and I've been staring at it for the last 20 minutes... I had fruit for breakfast, which is also 0 points, so I'm doing really well today. I get off work at 5, and I'm planning on getting a quick workout in before my weave snapping appointment at 7:45pm. So drinking this should be fine, right??? WHY CAN'T I JUST HAVE A FAST METABOLISM?!?!?!?!?!?
Such is life.
So writing all that down just convinced me to start drinking the fucking pop... glad I got that worked out.
It's freezing in the office today, and my boss isn't in - he's working from another location - so I'm takin' er easy today. I've got a SOLID mix of music playing on my Spotify (currently "Jump" by Van Halen), and tomorrow is already Friday. Good news.
My 50 Shades of Grey obsession is becoming stronger now that I'm about halfway through book 2, 50 Shades Darker. I can't put these damn books down, and I'm frightened for book 3 to be over. What will I read after these that has as much passion and drama??? I shudder at the thought.
Anyway, that's my boring life in a nutshell today. I'll leave here at 5, run home to workout and play with the boys and then get my hair done. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow, I'm sure.
Until then, I leave you with this:
I always arrive late at the office, but I make up for it by leaving early.

I'm gonna make you girls a HUMP DAY treat!
This morning, I got up, peed, took the boys out, went back upstairs to get in the shower. But I found myself on the couch in our loft. Just laying there. I have no motivation today, and I was milliseconds away from calling in. I knew I would feel bad if I did though because I have a bunch of stuff coming up in the next few weeks that I need days off for...
So, I waited until the last possible second and got my ass in the shower... I figure, what else would I have done all day? Napped? Cuddled with the boys? Mentally unwound? Hmm. All that sounds nice right about now. Alas, I'm at work. I'm here until 8pm, and I have NO IDEA how I'm going to make it here that long. I'm obsessed with my day planner, so I went through that this morning and organized the rest of my year, practically. I'm also pretty sure I've Googled everything there is to Google. Now what? I have a meeting at 2pm, and then I guess I'll take a lunch.
I need to take my bridesmaid dress into the cleaners and get it hemmed. The wedding is next Friday. Way to wait until the last minute, Kris.
But once I get that done, it should be smooth sailing until 8pm... hopefully.
Tomorrow, I'm getting my weave tightened and snapped after work (I need it BAD)... and Saturday, both boys are going to the vet. They didn't have two appointments together, so I have to take Gus at 9am and Sparky at 12pm... Which is good... it'll give them one on one time with mommy to hate me. I doubt we'll be on speaking terms until well into next week - until they get their grooming :)
Ok, I have a meeting. Let's get this over with................................ Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday xoxo

I am Magda.
So, my weekend was great... Busy, but great. Friday night, I went home and got to spend some much needed quality time with my pups and hubby. We relaxed, watched a movie and it was incredible.
Saturday, I was up and at em... Bachelorette Party day for one of my good friends, Frances. She decided she didn't want anything big, so we did an all day pool party/cookout/penis cake extravaganza. It was so fun to just hang out with the girls and get some sun! Beforehand, I had to run around like a lunatic to get any last minute stuff we needed, i.e. penis balloons, appetizers, princess crowns for the bride and her maids, etc. I got a call from the MOH right before I was approaching the house asking me to stop at a "straw store" and get straws. I pull into Speedway gas station with my princess crown on and grab a huge handful of straws and bolt out of there. I gave the cashier a look like "taking straws is the same thing as taking napkins... right?" I doubt it, but oh well.
I got away with snatching straws! hehehe... snatch :)
The party was great - the bride got a lot of gifts (naughty and nice), and we grilled a ton of food... Two weeks until the wedding!
Maid of Honor during the latter half of the day. She's hilarious, and I'm pretty sure she was schwasted.
Delicious penis cake - red velvet! YUM!
Then comes Sunday. As if I didn't get enough sun on Saturday, I asked my dad last week what he wanted to do for Father's Day, and he said "sit by your pool". So that's what we did. My mom, of course, had to come too--she refuses to miss a pool day. So she came over around 12pm to "set up camp" with me. My dad had gone to brunch in the city with my sister at 11:30, so he was meeting us later. Finally, my dad gets there at 2pm (mind you, Karen and I have been roasting for about two hours now) and cannonballs in the pool like a child. He loves it there. He proceeded to dunk me and my mother and splash us every chance he got. It was a great time, though. Finally, around 5:30pm, I noticed my skin bubbling (not literally, but it might has well have), so I asked if they were ready to wrap er up. By that time, everyone was hungry, so I took them to Chili's for dinner. My mom got a juicy ribeye, dad got a gigantic burger, and I had chicken tacos. We then split a huge brownie sundae. And that was that. Great day.
I am really burnt, and it hurt to shower this morning. This was last night as the burn was "settling in"... Enjoy.

30 Minute Countdown
So I haven't blogged in awhile... and I have 30 minutes of work left. Perfect timing!
So I was in Denver for work all last week. The days were long, and I missed my husband and fur kids SO MUCH... Ugh, it was torture. It was nice to be away for about a day, and then I wanted my own bed with my Frito-y dogs and snoring hubby. But I learned a lot and am better for the experience... blah blah blah. If I had to travel routinely for work, I would quit. The freaks at O'Hare Airport are some of the finest in the world, I'm sure.
What I DID enjoy about Denver is that everyone owns a dog. Not only that, they take said dog everywhere with them. I saw this one morning on our shuttle to training. SO CUTE. He looked at me:)
Anyway, Jason picked me up from the airport around 8:30 on Friday night, and when I got home, the boys were so happy to see mommy that they pissed all over our driveway:) I love it.
Over the weekend, we celebrated my brother's 35th birthday. My dad had us all over for a bbq and swimming. I can't believe Ryan is 35... that means I'm... never mind. I got to visit with my nephews. Here is my brother with squishy Joshua:)
He's my squishy, and I love him.
Jake is too cool for school... and Auntie's camera. He had so much fun. I love these boys:)
This week, I'm back in the routine of working in the office and praying for Friday to come. This weekend should be fun... Saturday, I have a friend from high school's bachelorette party (not going out--we're doing a pool party ALL day with food and bevs galore... and naughty gifts). Sunday, being Father's Day, I will be spending the day with my dad. I invited him and my mom to come to our pool for the day. It's supposed to be in the 90's all weekend, so by Monday, I'll look like Magda from There's Something About Mary...
I can't wait.

BACK IN ILLINOIS, THANK THE LORD.
Don't get me wrong, Denver was gorgeous, but I was stuck in training M-F from 7:30am to 6pm... It sucked. I wish I would have had a chance to enjoy the scenery and weather a bit more. But at least I can now say "I've been to Colorado."
So, I'm back in MY office with MY excellent music playlist and the freedom to walk around whenever I please :) It's the little things in life, I'm tellin ya!
I also missed my husband and puppies to NO END. It was bad. I guess it's healthy to get away once in awhile, but if I had a job that required me to be away from my home on a regular basis, I would have to rethink it BIG TIME.
This was in the car in the morning on the way to training. This is about as much scenery as I got to enjoy...
Also, I LOVE the fact that EVERYONE has a dog there, and they bring them with everywhere they go. Another morning on the way to training... SO CUTE.
Anyway, I'm refreshed and ready to get back to my daily routine. Today, being Tuesday, I will be working until 7pm and hitting up LA Tan for their "all you can tan for $5" special. Pretty nice little Tuesday I've got going on.
Alrighty, back to work. Missed everyone here, and I'm glad to be back in Chicago!!

I'm an asshole.
I have good intentions at all times, but sometimes they don't pan out... Like today, for example...
Last night, I finished Jennie's baby shower invitations (which are ADORABLE, if you ask me), so my plan was to go on lunch to the post office today and get them mailed out. Which is exactly what I did. HOWEVER, since I "modified" the invite by punching holes in it and putting curly blue ribbon on them, they cost more to mail out, which is fine. The PROBLEM is that they didn't have ANY cute stamps related to babies, puppies or anything else small that smells good. So, in order to add up stamps to $1.95, the "lady" behind the counter had to put together three different (all ugly in their own way) stamps. The whole cute look of the envelope is now ruined. I'm apologizing right now to all of Jennie's guests when they have to look at them. Here they are (it makes me want to cry):
Gross, right? The rest of the invites will hopefully make up for the disgusting stamps... :(
Other than that, today is going pretty well... I ran to Bed, Bath & Beyond on lunch (I had some time), and the Stage 5 Clinger was fired this morning. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't want to see anyone lose their job. But she didn't seem to care after they had given her numerous warnings of her poor performance. At least I don't have to worry about someone barging into my office uninvited anymore... unless they hire someone just like her. Great.
This weekend, I fly out to Denver for a week of training for work, so I'm sure I'll be blogging a lot in my hotel room at night to stay busy... :)
